Bodega Bay
Zoe often thought of Bodega Bay, of the wind blowing through her hair, the smell of sea water, the sound of gulls flying overhead . . . Here's one of her sketches of home.
The Knot
Zoe and Dani have the same Celtic knot tattoo, which is almost a character of it's own throughout the series. It signifies their bond as friends, but more than that, their like sisters. Throughout their lives they've ever truly only had one another to rely on and his knot symbolizing their eternal friendship and the love they have for one another.
The Crow
The day Zoe realizes that her entire life is gone—her world, her family—she sees a crow outside of the cabin . . . a crow she wonders is infected like everyone else seemed to be. This is the crow that culminates her disbelief with truth the of her situation. This is the crow that symbolizes how much things have actually changed and all the uncertainty she's left with.
